By: South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Unquantifiable

The Risk Management and Clinical Governance Committee (RMCGC) has endorsed our first Energy and Sustainability Policy. The policy has a number of principles which aim to:

• Minimise our Co2 emissions that are generated directly and indirectly as a result of our ongoing activities• Promote sustainable working practices• Adhere to, and where possible exceed the current guidelines and legal environmental requirements• Ensure that every member of staff is trained in the principles of this policy• Ensure that all staff are fully aware of their environmental responsibilities

The policy is part of SECAmb’s ongoing and proven commitment towards its environmental responsibilities. It also forms an integral part of the Trust’s Sustainable Development Management Plan.
