King's Health Partners - Route Map

By: Kings' College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Proposal: Kings Health Partners (KHP) would like to be able to design a map that details routes for sustainable transport between the partner’s main sites.  Sites; GSTT at London Bridge and Waterloo.  SLAM at Denmark Hill and Lambeth Hospital.  KCH at Denmark Hill.  KCL at London Bridge, Denmark Hill, Waterloo and the Strand.Once the map has been designed with walking and cycling routes it can be down loaded on to internet/intranet for KHP and the individual organisations.  Printed copies can be distributed where required.  The map will be used as a starting point by all four organisations to promote sustainable transport between each of the sites.

Update: The King’s Health Partners (GSTT, KCH, South London and the Maudsley and King’s College London) have agreed that the map will cover our main sites, and will be directed primarily at staff, but should also be useful to patients/visitors.  The maps will show walking, cycling (including super highway and Boris bike stations) and bus routes between our sites, and will serve to support those staff who are travelling between sites.

Cross the 3 partner sites

Already we anticipate the maps will support staff and patients who previously used the King’s Health Partners shuttle bus, which will shortly be discontinued due to low usage and high cost.
