East Sussex County Council offers a package of help to schools wishing to start up, develop and maintain Walking Buses throughout East Sussex. We risk assess and document routes, liaise with and support parent volunteers, provide hi-visibility tabards, provide insurance and review their correct and safe operation on a regular schedule.

Our Walking Bus "kit" of essential and useful information is on-line at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/walktoschool. We also provide support to schools wishing to develop other walking initiatives. See website.

All over East Sussex.
