In response to the SDU strategic document HPCT has developed a trust wide sustainable development plan called "Sustainable Health, Low Carbon". It focuses on HPCTs' key priorities for the future and demonstrates its' commitment to carbon reduction through a range of practical but ambitious measures,sharing of good practise and active engagement and support of staff and key stakeholders

Growing awareness within HPCT of the importance of sustainability and reduction of carbon use. Also, the release of the SDU strategy document

The development plan includes an action plan in its' own right which is currently being discussed and actions allocated to responsible leads etc.
