This project has not got a formal name as yet.  It is an integrated approach to sustainable travel in NHS Newham University Hospital Trust. 

Encoraging cycling by providing pool bikes, bike facilities, changing facilities, and linking the hospital to the Green Way cycle path to improve access (the Green Way offers a traffic free route east-west across the borough)  -

Reducing carbon by restricting use of taxi's in the Borough and introducing Corporate Oyster cards for staff travelling on Trust business.

Implementing a new Patient Transport Contract where patients will spend less time on vehicles, thus reducing carbon.

Introducing more economic trust fleet vehicles.

Encoraging a car share scheme.
