We intend to run a programme for staff to sign up to walk to work and log their steps and miles . This is aimed at all staff on all sites and alongside this we are currently trying to bid for some money to provide a free breakfast for 40 people for 5 days.In addition we would like to provide the Living Streets W2W bags and foot packs for those taking part.

Post Event Feedback

We had 20 people sign up and they got a pack and voucher for breakfast. Everyone was asked to log steps on the website but to date only 3 have.

I got a lot of people out and about at lunchtime as they were using as practice for Global challenge which launched today - 168 staff enrolled including all the exec team.

It definitely was a build up and staff are now meeting each lunchtime in the foyer to walk - a positive impact!
