To reduce waste to a minimum and what must be disposed of to be reused or recycled.

A number of new initatives have been introduced to ensure that waste is correclty streamed.  Cardboard is now recycled and earns a small income for the Trust.  We have introduced Sharpsmart which reduces the volume of plastic going to landfill.  Our confidential waste is now recycled and reused.  A new way of disposing of catering waste is to be introduced later this year following a successful trial.
