The London NHS Travel Network has recently joined the ‘Mapping Greener Healthcare’ website to map sustainable travel initiatives associated with NHS organisations across London. The London NHS Travel Network provides a valuable link for a range of stakeholders in the sustainable travel arena including health organisations, local authorities, third sector and community organisations. The mapping will provide help and support to individuals and organisations involved in the Network through shared learning and examples of good practice. It will promote measures to increase the sustainability of travel while monitoring the impact of initiatives on carbon emissions where possible.
